Portrait drawings are where it all started for me. I now offer portraits in graphite (pencils), colour (coloured pencils) and paint (acrylic).
When a customer tells me that I've captured the personality of their animal in the eyes or that I have given them back
a piece of their beloved friend, it's one of the best feelings in the world.
The regular sizing options are listed on the Portraits page, however, custom sizes are available upon request. Please contact me to discuss your options!

Portrait Ornaments, Coasters, Stall Signs
Custom hand painted ornaments and coasters have become a popular and affordable option to display our animals and other unique aspects of our lives. These can be displayed year round and add a fun and personal touch to your home.
Custom hand painted stall signs are also available for my fellow horse enthusiasts. These are made to be displayed in a barn but also make lovely decor for inside your home.

Horse Hair Keepsakes
Bracelets & Ornaments
I am now offering bracelets and wire horse ornaments, braided with the tail or mane hair from our equine friends. This is popular in the horse world as a way to honour and display our connection with these beautiful animals.
These are made completely custom and you choose everything about the look of your piece. Options include various coloured beads/stones, end caps & clasps, name tags and combining hair from multiple horses.

Who I am...
My name is Amanda and I am a Canadian artist with a passion for animals. I understand well, the deep bond between animals and humans and I want to share my work in ways that others can connect with.
I have a background in Graphic Design as well as Veterinary Assisting. After years of working in humane societies,
animal rescue has become very close to my heart.
I am often trying to find ways to combine my love for art and animals in ways that can support rescue efforts throughout
Canada.
Animals have always been a large part of my life and I owe a lot to them for making me who I am today.
I am here to help you find the perfect way to honour your special companions and celebrate the beauty that they bring into our lives.
